I just received the book and have not finished it yet but it’s been worth ordering. Starting with “Le Morte d’Arthur” in and continuing more or less to the present day, Mordred was reduced to a black hearted villain, or sometimes an angsty and petulant youthand his name became synonymous with treason, if not patricide. Title I Am Mordred: One person found this helpful. The reader is informed in the beginning of the story that it will be mordredd grim depressing tale.


And you have romance, in the original sense of the word, adventure, and also in the love-story sense—Tristan and Iseult, Lancelot and Guinevere. He spends his youth trying to find a way to change his fate through journeys, quests and people.
